30hr yin yoga teacher training
Join Ellie Cooper, Mari Colbert + Jess Smith for a 30-hour in-person Yin Yoga Teacher Training. Designed for curious students, practitioners, and teachers alike, this immersive training explores Yin through the lenses of functional anatomy, fascia, nervous system science, the 5 elements theory, meridians, yin/yang theory, and pranayama/meditation.
Blending modern research with traditional wisdom, you'll deepen your understanding of the Yin practice, enrich your personal experience, and gain the confidence and skills to share Yin Yoga with others.
What to Expect
This 30-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of Yin Yoga beyond the shapes themselves.
Blending functional anatomy, fascia and nervous system science, the 5 elements theory, meridians, yin/yang theory, the Five Elements, pranayama + meditation, and the Koshas, this training explores Yin as a practice of both embodiment and inquiry.
Through a balance of theory, practice, discussion, and experiential learning, you'll develop a deeper understanding of how Yin Yoga affects the physical body, energetic body, and mind. We'll explore key Yin postures, intelligent use of props, sequencing principles, hands-on support, meridian theory, and modern research surrounding fascia and stretching.
Alongside these frameworks, we'll investigate Yin using mindfulness and self-inquiry practices to cultivate presence, awareness, and connection.
Whether you're looking to confidently teach Yin Yoga or deepen your own practice, this training offers a thoughtful, integrated approach that bridges ancient wisdom and contemporary understanding.
Suitable for yoga teachers, trainees, and dedicated students seeking a richer understanding of Yin Yoga and its many layers.
